Encounter Bay Bowling Club is the largest regional bowling club in South Australia – known as the Friendly Club!

Located on the Fleurieu Peninsula adjacent to Victor Harbor and approximately 70kms south of Adelaide at 47 Armstrong Road, Encounter Bay. We are part of the Encounter Bay Sports Precinct at the Recreation Grounds on Armstrong Road. 

The club was established on 1st June, 1959. From humble beginnings we now have a membership of over 400, catering for Pennant, Social and Night Owl bowlers.

Join us for Social Bowls all year round and Night Owls from October to March. Give us a call and join in the fun and friendship. Coaching available. New members are always welcome.

We have 7 teams competing in the Open Gender Pennant Competition on Saturdays and 3 teams in the Ladies’ Pennant on Thursdays.

All bowlers are welcome to join us in any of our 6 Gala Days held through the main season, plus Pairs and Triples events on a monthly basis. Tempted yet to come along and have a roll?

Our modern clubrooms, open bar and state of the art kitchen are enjoyed by members and visitors alike, and all the facilities are available for hire.

There are 3 well-maintained, synthetic greens, (including our state of the art new green), enabling us to bowl all year round.
